Looking back at DMEXCO 2025 – Ibexa in the spotlight

Masterclasses, partner power and interactive engagement: In Cologne, Ibexa demonstrated how B2B complexity can be transformed into a competitive advantage.
Looking back at DMEXCO 2025 – Ibexa in the spotlight

DMEXCO 2025 in Cologne once again became the epicentre for MarTech and digital innovations — and Ibexa was there, too. On 17 and 18 September, Koelnmesse opened a gateway to the world of digital marketing. With the slogan "Reimagine what an AI-ready DXP can do" showcased the latest features of its Digital Experience Platform, delivering a clear message: to be successful as a B2B company today, you need intelligent, scalable, and forward-looking solutions.

Ibexa embodies the power of cooperation - and its presence at DMEXCO 2025 was also characterised by strong networking. Alongside with the subsidiaries Quable and Raptor as well as the renowned DACH partners adesso, Fork, format h, Intentive, OMMAX, RYZE Digital, schoene neue kinder and Webit, Ibexa offered a varied programme at stand D-039 in hall 6.

A refreshing appearance for a "fruitful" exchange

The Ibexa stand was a popular place to meet and exchange ideas, and it also attracted visitors with its interactive features. Visitors could test their skills at the Fruit Ninja Game (powered by Ibexa Engage), with the chance to win great prizes such as a PlayStation 5 or an FC Köln third jersey, in honour of the venue's long-standing association with DMEXCO.

Alongside gaming and prizes, the Ibexa stand offered culinary delights: fruity strawberry and mango smoothies and cocktails, in keeping with the Fruit Ninja game, provided a refreshing change to the lively Expo environment on the first day of the trade fair. Live DJ beats provided the perfect acoustic backdrop to the sociable atmosphere of talks, games and drinks.

Two days, four masterclasses, numerous impulses

In addition to its inviting and popular permanent presence at stand D-039, Ibexa's contribution to DMEXCO 2025 was characterised by multifaceted expertise and exciting topics for the future. The partner network's main focus was on four innovation-oriented masterclasses, which highlighted key trends in digital experience over the two days of the trade fair.

Masterclass 1 - Digital sovereignty in practice

On 17 September, format h, Stack IT and Ibexa opened the series at 10:00 a.m. with the session "Sovereignty in practice - paths to independent digital platforms". The focus was on the question of how companies can achieve greater independence from global cloud providers with European technologies, GDPR-compliant infrastructure and resilient architecture.

Sebastian Henne (format H), Dennis Herzing (Ibexa) and Philipp Saxer (Stack IT) demonstrated how to set up and operate a modern, scalable digital experience platform with great practical relevance. The audience gained a clear understanding of European solutions with Ibexa and Stack IT, as well as recommendations for a sustainable digital strategy.

Masterclass 2 - Awareness sends SOS: turmoil in the funnel

Also on the first day of the event, the OMMAX and Raptor masterclass showed why marketing funnels are changing fundamentally in the age of large language models. The Ibexa Partner Masterclass started at 16:45 under the title "Awareness sends SOS - Smart strategies to survive and grow beyond the search apocalypse". Sven Vörtmann and Felix Marcinowski (OMMAX) and Jaap Vlaming (Raptor) gave a practical explanation of how companies can develop data-driven strategies for a new customer journey.

Of particular interest are the insights and perspectives on how a Customer Data Platform (CDP) can deliver consistent, data-protection compliant experiences across all channels. How do people search and discover? Awareness-ready companies need to start here and rethink the customer journey — from LLM readiness and website search to recommendations and personalisation.

Masterclass 3 - Putting the focus back on content

The second day of the trade fair started at 10.00 a.m. with a clear message from Matthias Frescha and Thorsten Scherff(RYZE Digital) and Artur Wawrzynkiewicz (Ibexa): "When technology becomes invisible: How content becomes the main thing again". RYZE and Ibexa demonstrated how technology can unfold in the background without overlaying content.

Rather than presenting system fragments and silos, the speaker team offered an integrated approach to boost creativity, scalability and personalisation — in other words, to reduce technical frustration and increase content impact. The audience learnt how a single platform could be used for effective internal and external communication. Practical examples brought the ideas and impulses of this masterclass to life in a particularly engaging and accessible way.

Masterclass 4 - Next Level Digital B2B Experience

The joint session by schoene neue kinder and Ibexa on 18 September at 2:30 pm concluded the masterclass: "Why B2B success today needs AI-enabled data structures instead of static websites". True to the phrase "last but not least", the final masterclass impressively demonstrated that classic websites can no longer fully meet modern B2B requirements in the face of new AI possibilities.

In their presentation, Michael Kirchberger (schoene neue kinder) and Stephanie Kawan (Ibexa) emphasised that structured, semantic, AI-capable data is required to enable new user experiences in dialogue-based interfaces instead of classic filters. The central message of the speaker duo was clear and well received: The digital touchpoint must evolve into an intelligent platform — one that goes far beyond the capabilities of the average website.

Professional, human, networked - Ibexa at eye level

Ibexa is always on the move, and for our DXP experts, a successful event is based on three key pillars. As well as knowledge transfer in masterclasses and showcasing innovative solutions at the stand, personal encounters once again played a key role at DMEXCO 2025. The interdisciplinary Ibexa team held numerous discussions with customers, interested parties, and partners.

Tushar Marwaha, Ibexa's DACH Commercial Director, reflects on the highlight event with pleasure: "DMEXCO is a great opportunity for us every year to share our expertise, exchange new ideas, and strengthen and expand our network. We particularly value the direct dialogue with decision-makers from marketing, IT and management. This generates not only symbiotic ideas and contacts, but also genuine partnerships and long-term prospects."

DMEXCO 2025 - Ibexa and DACH partners draw strong conclusions

With an inspiring stand, four forward-looking masterclasses and an active partner network, Ibexa played a key role in shaping DMEXCO 2025.

It's clear that Ibexa understands the challenges faced by modern B2B companies, and can demonstrate how complexity can be transformed into a competitive advantage.

Anyone who missed this year's DMEXCO can find all the information on masterclasses, partners and upcoming events on the Ibexa website. Because one thing is certain: after DMEXCO is before DMEXCO - and Ibexa will continue to set the pace for the digital B2B experience.
