Marketing and digital have long since grown into a single, inseparable unit – which is why DMEXCO has become an unmissable event. In September 2025, the leading MarTech event will once again draw thousands of industry players to Cologne – eager for knowledge, hungry for innovation, and open to major networking opportunities. The Ibexa partner network fully meets these needs – not least with four high-caliber masterclasses spread across both days of the event.

Save the date: On September 17 and 18, 2025, Koelnmesse will once again be all about DMEXCO. For Ibexa, this leading industry event is more than just a date in the diary – it feels like coming home. On both days, Ibexa will be there in close collaboration with its partners – not just watching from the sidelines, but actively shaping the event.

In a series of four masterclasses, experts will address key topics and trends in the digital marketing landscape. Alongside the masterclass speakers, other Ibexa partners such as adesso, Fork, Intentive, webit!, and Quable will also be involved.

 

Masterclass 1: Sovereignty through independent digital platforms

The first masterclass, titled “Digital Sovereignty in Practice – Pathways to Independent Digital Platforms”, will take place on September 17, from 1:00 to 1:30 PM in Room 6A. The speaker team includes Sebastian Henne (format h), Philipp Saxer (STACKIT) and Dennis Herzing (Ibexa). Together, they will explore the path to a modern, scalable Digital Experience Platform, covering all aspects involved.

Specifically, this involves building on European technologies, creating GDPR-compliant infrastructure and developing robust architecture. A clear project example will demonstrate to companies how they can position themselves with confidence and efficiency while ensuring they are future-proofed.

 

Masterclass 2: Awareness is sending SOS - uproar in the funnel

On the first day of the event, Sven Vörtmann (OMMAX) and Jaap Vlaming (Raptor) will explore the future of marketing in Room 6A from 4:45 to 5:15 PM. They will explain how Large Language Models (LLMs) are radically changing search behaviour and shaking up traditional sales funnels, and why companies need to completely rethink their customer journeys.

With the title 'Awareness Sends an SOS: Turmoil in the Funnel: Smart Strategies to Survive the Search Apocalypse”, the experts present practical, hands-on solutions covering everything from LLM readiness to smart website search, recommendations and personalised customer journeys. They also demonstrate how a Customer Data Platform (CDP) can deliver consistent, personalised and privacy-compliant experiences across channels, helping brands prepare for the new era of search.

 

Masterclass 3: Full focus on content

Content is (still) king:  high-quality, meaningful content is still as important as ever, even if it is sometimes overshadowed by rapid technological advances. Thorsten Scherff and Matthias Frescha (Ryze Digital) and Ingo Hofmann (Ibexa) will be sharing their insights on this topic. They will open the second day with the third masterclass on September 18, from 10:00 to 10:30 am in Room 6A. The focus will be on boosting content impact and reducing tech frustration.

In their presentation, titled “When Technology Becomes Invisible: How Content Takes Centre Stage Again”, the expert trio will demonstrate how technology can become a subtle yet powerful force without overshadowing essential content. RYZE and Ibexa will present an integrated approach combining creativity and scalability to enable personalised communication, efficient content processes and a lasting impact.

 

Masterclass 4: AI agility over rigid structures in B2B

Michael Kirchberger (schöne neue kinder) and Stephanie Kawan (Ibexa) will bring valuable B2B perspectives to the Ibexa DMEXCO Masterclasses 2025, delivering a fitting finale. On 18 September, from 2:30 to 3:00 pm in Room 6B, they will discuss 'Next Level Digital B2B Experience: Why B2B Success Today Requires AI-Enabled Data Structures Instead of Static Websites', highlighting how traditional B2B websites are no longer sufficient to meet rapidly changing demands.

Providers of complex and highly technical solutions must not only make their product data available, but also ensure that it is structured, semantic and AI-ready. Rather than traditional navigation and filters, there is an increasing demand for dialogue-based interfaces. At the same time, users expect a personalised, industry-specific and context-driven experience. The digital touchpoint is evolving beyond the classic website towards an intelligent platform.
