Ibexa DXP v5.0.6

Ibexa releases DXP updates 5.0.6 and 4.6.28. This release introduces a rich Shopping List experience to the Commerce editions alongside support for PHP 8.4 and a new Ibexa Cloud package. 

Smarter Purchase Planning with Shopping Lists in Ibexa Commerce 

In modern commerce, not every purchase happens instantly. Customers explore, compare, return, and plan before completing a purchase. With the enhancements of Shopping Lists, Ibexa Commerce turns this natural behaviour into a structured, conversion-ready experience. 

This release introduces a unified framework that allows buyers to save, organize, and reuse products — bridging the gap between discovery and checkout. 

A Unified “Save for Later” Experience 

Buyers can now: 

• Save products directly from product and listing pages 
• Automatically use a default list (“My Wishlist”) 
• Create and manage multiple lists 
• Move available products seamlessly between lists and cart 
• Add entire lists to cart in one action 

This unified approach reduces friction, removes confusion between cart and saved items, and keeps users in control of their purchase planning.

Shopping Lists are designed to support both inspiration-driven browsing and structured buying scenarios — without adding complexity to the user experience.

An important improvement that introduces Ibexa’s tailor-made configuration and setup process for PaaS deployments on Ibexa Cloud, replacing a generic Symfony script used before.
